Peppermint Candy Swirl
  
Peppermint Candy Swirl is made from poly/cotton red and
white gingham fabric. The collar and cuffs are done in white cotton
and edged in a hand-embroidered bullion loop trim. An additional
strand of red embroidery floss is then woven through the loops to give the
candy-cane appearance to the trim. The collar is further embellished
with tiny daisies worked in red thread with white french-knot
centers. The lined bodice is smocked in two layers, one in red, one
in white, in a cable-and-wave pattern that creates tiny rosettes where the
rows meet. The look is complete top to bottom when the full skirt is
edged in white eyelet, customized with a strand of red floss whipped
through along the bottom to mirror the trim on the collar and cuffs.
The bodice is lined and the dresses has a back Velcro closure.

Daisy Chain is made from poly/cotton black and white gingham

hand-embroidered white bullion-loop trim. A strand of black is whipped
through the loops in a swirl pattern, and tiny, red french-knots are spaced
at intervals along the trim. The collar is further embellished with
daisies embroidered in black with red french-knot centers. The
hand-worked smocking is done in two layers, one in black and one in
white. The cable-and-wave pattern creates tiny rosettes where the rows
meet and these are highlighted by red french-knot centers. The bottom
of the full skirt is bordered by an eyelet trim that is fully customized
with hand embroidery. A strand of black whipped through the bottom
mirrors the trim a the top, and the embroidered daisies in the eyelet are
outlined in black and centered with red french-knots.
